The AVANOS* Assisted Care 24 Hour Oral Care Kit with CHG is just one of the clinical solutions that you can depend on to meet the demands of your fast-paced world. The Assisted Care Oral Care Kits for non-vented patients are a NEW offering in the AVANOS portfolio of 24-Hour Oral Care kits. These kits are designed to provide comprehensive oral care for non-vented, or intermittently vented patients that are unable to perform oral care independently.

CHG Oral Rinse, 0.12%, is available for oral care protocols that require CHG twice daily. Cup label includes barcode for easy scanning and documentation.

Getting Started Attach Yankauer to Suction Handle

  • Use Yankauer as needed during kit use (24 hours)
  • Suction Handle attaches to ALL components in the Kit
  • For a secure fit with suction handle, TWIST COMPONENTS 1/4 TURN
  • DO NOT THROW AWAY SUCTION HANDLE or YANKAUER during kit use (24 hrs)

Step 1 Morning or Time:

  • Open Purple Toothbrush Pack
  • CONNECT Toothbrush to Handle, DIP in solution cup
  • BRUSH teeth 1-2 minutes, and SUCTION often
  • MOISTURIZE lips and mouth with Oral Swab and Mouth Moisturizer
  • DISCARD Toothbrush and Swabs, and REATTACH Yankauer to Handle

Step 2 Afternoon or Time:

  • Open Green Suction Pack
  • CONNECT Suction Swab to Handle, DIP in solution cup
  • SWAB mouth, and SUCTION often
  • MOISTURIZE lips and mouth with Oral Swab and Mouth Moisturizer
  • DISCARD Swabs, and REATTACH Yankauer to Handle

Step 3 Evening or Time:
