Boston Scientific M0062251020 UroMax Ultra Balloon Dilatation Catheter

The UroMax Ultra Balloon Dilatation Catheter features two lumen hubs for placement and infusion of contrast medium during balloon inflation. Designed for radial dilatation of the urinary tract to relieve strictures and to facilitate the placement of larger surgical instruments.

  • Low Profile - proprietary quadra-fold technology allows low profile during placement and withdrawal
  • High Pressure Dilation - controlled inflation pressure up to 20 ATM for dilating narrow strictures
  • Non-Compliant Balloon - designed with specially treated polymers and processes to maintain its outer diameter during inflation
  • Two lumen hubs for placement and infusion of contrast medium during balloon inflation

Tapered Distal End

  • Facilitates negotiation of tight, tortuous ureteral tracts

Radiopaque Marker Bands

  • Enhances visualization of balloon position under fluoroscopy

HydroPlus Coated Balloon Surface

  • Designed to reduce friction during advancement and withdrawal

Kink Resistant Shaft

  • Designed for enhanced control navigating tortuous anatomy

Why Radial Dilatation?

Single stage

Balloon dilatation may allow the procedure to be completed at a single stage and avoid additional medical costs and side effects of a staged, pre-stented approach.2 Radial dilatation may help avoid additional procedures and subsequent financial burden to the hospital system and patient.

Focused Dilatation

Balloon dilatation of strictures under visualization may avoid the potential shearing forces associated with sequential rigid dilatation.
