Sterile Polyisoprene Powder-Free Surgical Gloves Esteem® Ortho surgical gloves are designed for use in orthopedic procedures or other high-risk procedures where a thicker barrier is required, such as trauma, labor and delivery and reconstructive surgery. It is a synthetic solution that performs like latex in terms of comfort, fit and feel. -Thicker than Esteem® SMT for additional protection (12.2 mils vs. 9.5 mils). -Outstanding barrier protection. -Can be worn: --1- stand alone, when a single layer of protection is preferred --2- on top of Esteem® Blue surgical gloves with Neu-Thera® emollient coating for double-gloving. --3- asthe base layer of double-glove protection with Esteem® Micro or Esteem® SMT powder-free synthetic polyisoprene surgical gloves asthe top layer. -Made from a unique, synthetic polyisoprene formulation, which is structurally identical to natural rubber latex without the proteins -Ideal solution for those with a known sensitivity or allergy to latex
